This is probably a minority topic but here goes anyway. I have had a supra-pubic for quite a long time now but am discovering that one makes three places for urine to leak through - the lumen of the catheter, the stoma around the catheter and the urethra / penis. I have swapped to a slow release version of Oxybutinin and that should be working fine to shut the bladder but it doesn't work anything like well enough.

Now, I am finding that little 'fluffy' bit block the catheter, only slightly. As pressure builds up and one might expect the block to clear itself it doesn't. Some smallish amounts come round the catheter ad the rest pours out of the penis. It is just as well a sleep on a bedpad to absorb leaks.

So, anyone any idea how to stop the bladder jumping into action or even stop the 'fluffy' bits. I drink buckets of liquids in the day so the urine is very clear. My only though has been to try to get s sphincterotomy and general re-bore and have just one drainage hole. Might that work?
