member of my family had a fall a few years ago and now she suffers from severe pain in the spine and can
not walk very far and finds mobility very hard. also her neck has a lump at the right side near her spine.
speech is very bad and motor skills are poor.
does anyone have any advice? please help me.even her speech seems to go hwen in pain.

I am convinced it is a spinal problem but doctors don't know what to do

Change your doctor!

Seek a second opinion and insist on her having an MRI scan.

I agree with Gary....do it as quickly as possible and if you don't care for the response you get from that doc, keep searching!!!  I'm fortunate to have great medical care here in Ohio, but still have a lot of questions (as this injury is very new to me).  It's important to have a physician who can listen to what you're saying and answer in a way you understand.  It's also important to find one who is up on the latest technology to diagnose and treat the injury.

Good luck with everything,

Amy

I agree with Gary and Amy!  Grin Change doctors!!!! If the doctor shes got hasnt got the brains to figure out what to next then theres something wrong! she needs a MRI, x-rays, scans, whatever! Pain and lumps etc dont just appear by themselves!
